Inauguration of Zenj Centre of excellence in 2022

On August 27, 2022, ZCET marked a significant milestone in our community’s history as our school was officially inaugurated.

The honorable guest for the day was none other than the second Vice President of the Revolutionary Government of Zanzibar, Hon. Hemed Suleiman Abdulla, whose presence added a touch of prestige to the event.

But that’s not all we were honored with the presence of the Minister of Education, the Minister of Tourism, development partners, diplomats, and influential members of the local business community gracing us with their presence.

The atmosphere was filled with excitement and anticipation, as students, teachers, and community members gathered to witness this momentous occasion. The vibrant energy in the air was a testament to the importance of education in our community and the collective effort it took to turn this dream into reality.

We can’t express enough gratitude to everyone who played a role in making this ceremony a resounding success. It was a true collaboration between the government, educational authorities, and the local business community, all working together to pave the way for a brighter future for our youth in the hospitality industry.

As the saying goes, “A journey of a thousand miles begins with a single step,” and this inauguration was that crucial first step.

Our school’s journey has just begun, and we are eager to embrace the challenges and opportunities that lie ahead.
